1. Research Associate / Assistant / Bioinformatician / Bioinformatics Data Analyst (1 Position)

Position Title: Research Associate / Assistant / Bioinformatics Data Analyst/ Bioinformatician
Location: Ahmedabad

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Research Associate/Assistant with 2-3 years of experience in genomics and multi-omics data analysis, strong bioinformatics skills, and foundational knowledge of wet-lab experimental techniques. The successful candidate will support integration and analysis of genomics, GWAS, and multi-omics data to identify biomarkers relevant to cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. This role bridges computational biology with experimental validation, contributing to personalized medicine solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret multi-omics datasets including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and epigenomics.Perform GWAS and polygenic risk score calculations tailored to South Asian populations.Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for pharmacogenomics and nutrigenomics data.Collaborate with wet-lab teams to design and execute experimental validation of candidate biomarkers.Support AI-driven clinical decision support development by providing curated and analyzed data.Generate detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to clinical and research teams.Stay updated on advances in precision medicine, bioinformatics tools, and cardiometabolic research.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field.2-3 years of hands-on experience in genomics and multi-omics data analysis.Hands-on experience with bioinformatics tools and scripting languages (e.g., R, Python).Basic experimental lab knowledge, preferably in molecular biology techniques.Familiarity with human genetics, GWAS, pharmacogenomics, and multi-omics integration.Published or about to publish research papers in reputable journals in relevant fields.Motivated with the ability to independently carry out research projects.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Position Title: Biological Data Manager
Location: Ahmedabad

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Biological Data Manager with expertise in managing and curating large-scale biological datasets, including public and institutional epidemiological and genomic data. The ideal candidate will have programming skills in R/Python and experience handling public health data to support India-specific precision cardiometabolic research and genomic risk stratification initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage acquisition, organization, and quality control of public genomic, epidemiological, and clinical datasets relevant to cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.Curate and harmonize heterogeneous datasets from various sources, including hospital-generated multi-omics data.Collaborate with bioinformatics analysts and epidemiologists to integrate data for downstream analysis and AI model development.Ensure compliance with data privacy, ethical guidelines, and regulatory standards in data handling.Provide data-driven insights to support clinical decision tools and translational research projects.Maintain documentation and metadata standards to facilitate reproducibility and data sharing.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Data Science, or related discipline.Proven experience managing large-scale biological and epidemiological datasets.Knowledge of programming languages R and Python for data manipulation and analysis.Knowledge of public health data repositories and regulatory frameworks in India.Familiarity with genomic data formats and metadata standards.Published or about to publish research papers in reputable journals in relevant fields.Motivated with the ability to independently carry out research projects.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
